Massachusetts Free Speech Suppression Abortion Law Case

While Massachusetts secular totalitarians coerce by law all children to accept homosexual behavior as normal and morally correct, they trump parental rights law that allows parents to exempt their children from gay brain washing via state mandated across-the-curriculum sex education. Their blatant violation of natural rights born in traditional morality and reason does not stop at supposed gay rights. They intend to violate First Amendment rights of everyone.

Today’s news includes the recurrence of free speech suppression for the cause of abortion.

According to a February 22 report by John Connolly, Massachusetts enacted a law establishing a 35 foot buffer zone between pro-life advocates seeking to inform women about the decision they are about to make. In a recent court case, MA Attorney General Martha Coakley argued that free speech rights were not being violated. The law is in place to provide adequate security for patients using the clinic. The law passed by the legislature in 2007 does not prohibit any form of speech; it only restricts the time and place where that speech may occur.

Let’s put this in perspective. According to accepted standards of roadway design, a two-lane city street with a 30 mph speed limit is about 20 feet. By this standard, it is evident that liberal totalitarian lawmakers in MA intend for no one other than Planned Parenthood to speak to or to deceive women about abortion.

Bill Cotter, President of Operation Rescue Boston, rightly said, “Enacted in the name of ‘public safety,’ it has as much to do with public safety as abortion has to do with health care. Instead, it represents a usurpation of our public sidewalks by the state on behalf of private child-killing businesses, for the sake of suppressing the pro-life message.”

Reasonable people have to admit that a 6-foot protection zone is appropriate. The rights of all parties are enforced and protected by such public policy. A zone of 12-18 foot away from killing mills’ entrances is also a reasonable restriction.

The MA anti-religious, anti-moral, anti-free speech law is witness to the formation of a totalitarian secular state. Just as Massachusetts lead in the American Revolution, it is now leading the anti-American revolution.
